How collaboration shows up in product work
Thoughts on why collaboration is not just alignment theatre, but a real part of making better product decisions.
Collaboration is easy to talk about in a vague way, but I think it becomes more meaningful when it improves the quality of a decision. Good collaboration should reduce confusion, surface constraints early, and help people move with more shared context.
What that looks like in practice
For me, it means asking clearer questions, making trade-offs visible, and creating shared understanding before execution starts. It also means listening properly when someone sees a risk you have missed.
The outcome I care about
The goal is not perfect harmony. It is a team that understands what it is doing, why it matters, and where the biggest uncertainties still sit.
